Hi all,
Everything looks like it's lined up where it's supposed to be, so I've sent out the "smoke test" to 5% of our backers. Check your email inbox to see if you're one of the randomized folks and reply at your earliest opportunity. I'll check on things as they come in to make sure there are no issues, and once we've got a good sampling back we should hopefully be able to send out the survey to everyone on Sunday!

Backerkit Survey Submitted for Review! Plus, welcome Late Pledges!

Hi all,
We are one week out from completing Nordic Monsters and we've got updates for you!
- Our Backerkit survey has been completed and submitted for review. We might get it back by end of business tomorrow, in which case we can start sending out our "Smoke Test" to backers this weekend. At worst, we'll have the review done on Monday and can send it out next week. That's a simple test survey that goes out to 5% of backers to make sure everything is working correctly before we send it to everyone.
- We want to welcome our new backers who have joined us since the Kickstarter ended last month through Kickstarter's "Late Pledges" feature. We hope you love the items you've pledged for as soon as they start heading out! We have 10 new backers already and please do continue to spread the word as we look to add even more!
- Speaking of heading out, even before Backerkit gets finalized we did send out our first batch of PDFs to our backers at the EARLY BIRD Dirty Dozen Deluxe pledge level! Since that pledge was 5E only, we didn't need to wait for the Backerkit survey to see which system you wanted to order. Backers at that level can log into your DrivethruRPG account and all of your bestiary PDFs will be waiting for you, except of course for Nordic Monsters itself, which is still in production. Add-on PDFs also will not be there yet.
We are continuing to collect all of the monster manuscripts from our authors, and the books are coming together delightfully. You are definitely going to have fun with these new monsters for your campaign! Thanks again for making this campaign a Legendary success!
P.S. Our company website is currently still down due to some kind of DDOS attack that crashed the servers at our hosting service. We're still working on getting it resolved but not to worry; it will have no effect on fulfilling this Kickstarter or even our ability to continue publishing products and selling them through our partner sites like DrivethruRPG, the Open Gaming Store, Amazon, and Paizo.

You all have been truly legendary in your support and we appreciate each and every one of you! Special shout-outs to go John B (backer #850), makkelaine (#900), and our final backer Russell A (#920), with a double blast of the battle horn for "Sky" L for pushing us over the $45,000 mark and unlocking our final stretch goal, Even Greener Land!
We'll be taking a night off to relax with the family at the end of the campaign, but we've already finished about half of our Backerkit survey and should have that ready to send out by the end of next week! You'll be able to select your preferred game system there, as well as paying shipping and ordering any extra items that strike your fancy! We'll be in touch soon with more information, including links for some items we may be able to send out early, but for now rejoice in another beautiful bestiary coming your way soon.

- Fans of D&D and Pathfinder, your next project will be the long-awaited Ultimate Horror, coming in either late June or early July!
On a personal note, this project was near and dear to my heart. We've made many Legendary Bestiaries that salute the stories of gamers and their home cultures from around the world previously in Asian, African, Latin American, and Mediterranean Monsters, and this one was for me and my father's Danish lineage. He passed away during the project on May 1st, and this book is dedicated to his memory. Thanks for helping make this book another special memory, and love your loved ones as long as you can and as well as you can. Every day is a treasure, so take every chance to make it Legendary.

Thanks to all of you for your amazing contributions for making this project such a success, with a special shout-out to Scott SH (backer #750) and Brandon P (#800), and of course a double dose of delight from Dan K, whose pledge pushed us over the $40,000 mark and unlocked our Asgardian Steeds! We've already shared the preview art for gullinbursti, but I've just finalized the artwork for the thunder goat tarngrisner this morning, and I'm delighted to share it with you courtesy of longtime LG artist Peyeyo!
The Nordic Monsters project ends this Thursday, and we encourage you to help give us one final push to all of your friends and fellow gamers out there so they can become a part of this project too! Please like and share wherever you see it on your social media!

Hi all and welcome to the second half of Nordic Monsters! As we accelerate toward the finish line, we keep on stacking up backers and funding and look to be on track to be our biggest Kickstarter project since Mediterranean Monsters, and that is thanks to all of YOUR support, including Shawn H (backer #650) and Jason (backer #700)!
